wanted to go down to MDIS to make my school payments, but.......school was closed. darn suay. went to meet samantha n jassica for dinner @ raffles city. w8 for jass, den went to m sq imperial treasure la mian xlb. den we went to xinwang for coffee n tea. need to take de marnee back frm them. wahaha

Sunday, went to meet samuel at clementi den sara at tiong bahru. had buffet lunch @ irodori with jassica, samantha, alvin, samuel, sara n noah. darn lots of sashimi. calories overload. after that went to watch johnny english @ great world city with samuel jassica n noah. den took a cab back with samuel.

woke up, went to the downstairs coffeshop for breakfast. ordered loads of yummy stuff. ckt, lor mee, bak chor soup, chee cheong fun, yam cake, wanton mee. geez.
slacked in the hotel for 1-2hr. packed my bag n moved over to dad's room
slept for awhile, den moved over to a small shopping area around the hotel place.
there was this peranankan food which is amazing. the nyonya curries n lor bak n fish is yum yum. desserts were great too. the uncle was entertaining
yummy place indeed! wld be back if i were to return to penang.
returned to the hotel, rested for a while, packed our bags n went to the coffeehouse for a drink or 2.
took the bus back to the airport
q-ed for our tickets n boarded the flight home

woke up on time, went down for breakfast, not much stuff to eat anyway. took a cab to the trishaw ride area. had a 3hrs trishaw ride, first to the temple where we prayed as it was the 15th. then went to pernankan musuem where many pictures were taken before settled for some chendol. went over the musuem for some nasi padang and CKT again. then took a ride round the harbour, past the colonial buildings to the batik shops den to our shopping malls, komtar n pranlin mal
bought lots of stuff, walked around, many pretty girls too. Old town white coffee is darn cheap la.
went over to the other mall, which was quiet, had dinner at the food court. then took a cab back, which was hard to find too, but manage to buy some phong piah.
as usual, room service again, chicken cordon bleu, horfun, mee mamak.

Cld nt wake up on time, so missed breakfast. took a cab down to penang hill, where we took the cable tram all the way up to the peak. it was a misty cold morning, could not see much except for cold winds n fog. went to settle at a english style tavern, selling english cusine like pastries and roasts. settled for a mushroom and ribeye beef pie, which is huge. i had a phobia for beef right after that serving.
took the tram back and took a cab to lek kok si temple if im nt wrong. donated a tile to the temple building efforts, bought a poem, den went round snapping pictures and praying.
walked down the hil and settled for some CKT n penang laksa. tried to call for a cab but to no avail before coming to agremeent with a private cab. went to this shopping centre, had a haircut, walked around. then took a cab to a chinese restaurant for dinner. the dong po rou is yummy, the rest were mediacore.
mum suggested we walked back -.-, it was a good 15minutes terrifying walk back to the hotel
hahaha. as usual, room service again, this time, char kuey tiao, sandwiches n horfun.

The Pleasure Trail - Second Stop, Penang
Woke up @ 10+ 11, went to SICC terminal 2 after a lift from uncle choon. had dimsum breakfast @ crystal jade then we walked in to immigration. had a walk around the duty free zone before we had some kueh kueh waiting for the boarding time. boarded the airplane n yum yum was the in flight snack, chicken wrap!. landed at penang around 2. gosh that place is run down. reached the hotel around 3+, wanted to go to this hkm place but was closed for a year or so, so walked over the street to have this white chicken which is amazing yummilicious. went to giant to bought some stuff but amazing, they have no plastic bag so i carried the groceries in a carton box
went to gurney drive at night but the price is expensive, so we settled at the street side food. walked over to gurney plaza for some shopping, got some bubble tea, and had room service. char kuey tiao n sandwiches
