Apec 2009
I was recalled on 2nd November to 19th November for my reservist duties.
2nd to the 6th was quite monotonous. I and Quek are stationed in EPO, doing normal stuff. First day i was doing usual calls and during lunch time we went back to CPC for me to clear my stuff. We went to have lunch at Macau Cafe @ Singapore Expo. we then returned to EPO.
Second day, F divison Jenny came down and find me. so sweet rite. haha. we went for lunch with her boy. we had chicken rice ball and thai chicken feet. it was quite good. after the lunch, we went to buy bubble tea and i got 4 chocolate bowls for the office. we then went to KFC to meet up with the NSmen dudes. hahas
Third Day. We went to far east plaza for lunch. Weiming and Bellamy drove, so i took Bellamy car. We had pontian wanton noodles, Mdm they all after that went to buy yakun, milk tea, i and quek had durian pancakes. Doreen then went to buy chicken chop, Jackie went to buy Tian bu La. I realised that Mdm Elyza is from SPS sia. hahahas. she was the former ESO for QRP.After that went to Pearl Center for a meeting
Thursday. We went to Toa Payoh for lunch. We took wei ming latio there. Waited for a parking lot. i had xiao wan mian. Quek, lawsonn and weiming had chye png. Lawsonn had malay rice i think. Bell had Yong tau foo. After the meal, we and quek went to buy 2 cakes and had for our tea break. We met mdm mary n returned to office. We watched Bleach movie in records. Today is Mdm Elyza birthday. Joseph went to prank her, we all prepared the cake and celebrated and sing hahaha.
Friday. We went to PKTC for a briefing. we then had lunch at the mess. it was packet lunch. as usual AD had some comments. After lunch, i went to meet Mdm Irene, we had a 1hr chat abt wad we are doing and stuff. glad to hear that she is doing well. Thanks to her that i managed to get my backpay on my CPL Rank.
Saturday was rest day
Sunday was my first deployment day. I wanted to have western food. Dad brought us to Old KFC for western food. I then left home at 4pm to meet XuanKai at west mall. i waited for him at the busstop until 6pm. we reached OPA around 7. we then met Quek and drove a Land Rover thru boon keng to the F1 Pit Stop Building. We went to the F1 Base Management Office to report for duty. Me and Quek issued the PR sets. prepared the list for handing/taking over for all the static positions. went on our rounds to provide the welfare foods on the Buggy with Derrick. It was like so fun lar. On that day, dun think i even had any rest. We did 1 red teaming. drove out to chinatown den i went to buy drinks. Funny lar, later when they search the vehicle, got Ooo-Long Tea lar, wad de fark. back to red teaming Me and Quek went to throw stuff from the fencing and runned all de way to Sera 1.was on the move almost the whole morning sia. Dinner was chye png with cheng ting. It rained like fark sia. but lucky Sera 2 is under benjamin sheares bridge, sheltered by the thingy.Supper was like samosa n seaweed chix i think. then breakfast was mee siam. Reported Off on monday morning. I returned home and koon
Monday. Report Off n Koon
Tuesday. Dad drove me to OPA. dropped me around 7am. Met Quek n XK. we drove down via Geylang. Met with all the KINS ppl and had breakfast. the POTG started to come in. Met DSP Jarred Nair. Prepared the summary list for mdm. Things start to settle in liaos. went to try the leg massage with derrick. Met with Sir Ridzwan also. Sia la, he still remember me hahahaReported off at 8pm, went straight home and koon.
Wednesday. Woke up. Ate Wanton Mee.Nikole gave me a call to request for an invoice. geez. tired sia. hahahas. i took 154 down to OPA, started at 6pm, arrived at OPA around 730. bought the Vodafone thingy from de guy. Screwed up on the meeting place with Quek, in de end met him at Novena. We went down n had dinner. Prepared for 2 red teaming. 1st red teaming is me holding Xuan Kai hostage with a gun. We went down to OTPS. had some supper too. hahhaha. eat sleep eat shit nia lor.The other was Quek n Hakim throwing stuff in. Had fun with Koo and de Kins ppl. haha. We charged in and i walked out of the vehicle. shouting n screaming with koo. in de end got arrest and flex cuffed. the KINS were tired, so the briefing ended around 4am.i went to the Massage chair and had some massage and sleep for like 1hr. we then went down for breakfast. Wa liaos. Mee Goreng sia. buey jiak. went for 1 last round n reported off.
Thursday. Report off. Went to OPA. Stayed until 10+ before Xk brough me to MDIS. I went to MDIS to meet with Gan Ena n Zi meng. we went to Bugis for lunch at MOF. Meet ah soon there. then we waited for Juliana. i had soft shell crab maki, oreded a tofu. gan ena had dry ramen with agedashi tofu. zimeng had hot stone rice and jul had the set lunch. After the meal, i took a train all the way home. reached home around 3+. Slept all the way until night.
Friday. Woke up at 530am. went to bathe and took 174 to west mall. Xuan kai came to fetch me, we then went to OPA. he changed into half U. Quek was late, so we drove down to F1 pit Building, this time via boon keng also. kenna ERP. after he dropped me. he went back to OPA. i went to report in, had breakfast and we prepared for delegates visit. i went on our rounds with derrick to check the stuff. its a wet day. Said hi to all the KINS ppl. chit chat. had lunch and dinner. Met with keith, had lunch with Keith. haha. Then we prepared for the delegates meeting, i went in the SWTT room sia, coz de mdms there are watching a movie, affecting our briefing. i took pictures for the whole delegates thingy. after that, derrick drove de buggy around then my phone kanna runned over. haha.We reported off at 8. i and Quek walked to City Hall, we then returned from there. I went to fetch mum, waited for the thingy to end. went to walk around. after that we went home to sleep. S
Saturday. Woke up around 3+. Family @ JP. Mum bought nasi lemak for me. I had it with unagi egg and took MRT-156 down to OPA. waited for Xuan Kai.. he finished his wisdom tooth surgery liaos. We fetched Quek under the expressway. We then went down via balestier. Arrived at F1 pit building, realised that dinner was KFC/Pizza Hut. had briefing, no red teaming today. chit chat, tokcok, as usual. had cup noodles and stuff. drove the buggy around. went with AD back to OPA to put some rations. had a chat with him. after the end. i went to the seating area to sleep, but cant sleep, so played Deal or No Deal, still cannot sleep, so went to back n sleep. saw ASP shaifuddin sleeping dere, haha. Woke up around 6+, passed the buggy key, den pass the car key. then went on my rounds. Reported off at 9. Sent out the emails for the photos around 8+.
Sunday
Say a final farewell to everyone before dropped off at City Hall. Took de train back. slept around 11+. woke up at 6, went for dinner. den sleep.
Monday. Woke up, went to CNW for breakfast, den reported to CPC. followed by Chinatown Point and returned home liaos
Tuesday. Went back to OPA. did de contact stuff. went to NPPK for PLD Appreciation Lunch. saw a chiobu. hahahass. realised that she was the morale sensing team. hehe. ok. after that, took a train home. met with sabrina, went to NTUC, den she bought a lanyard for her phone. slept in the afternoon. den woke up.
MISSED THE WHOLE APEC PERIOD SIA. GEEZ. SO FAST MUST REPORT BACK TO WORK LIAOS!!! SIANS SIANS SIANS. but its ok, meeting lester, n vincent tml! hehe. treating mdm mary lunch tml also. kekeke.
