It a day of mixed emotions.
I reached office only to realise that non of our affairs officers are around except for sir razlan. Weehoo, it seems like paradise. Went to sort my dockets with Jason and cleared much of my backlog.
Lunch, we went for Macdonalds with Loga, Keith, Me, Thomas, Jane, Raginah, Zhen Ming, n ZM understudy, gosh i forgot his name. Yep, we ordered via the coupon, ordered 8 EVM, and had 7 sets of 6pc nuggets and 1 choco sundae for mdm jane.
When back to office, thanks benny for helping me do the key. Took the keys to Raginah. den the person came to repair the doors, so sunbian ask him to check my door. realise it was due to friction that i cant open my door. after some filling and some addition of oil, my door was up n ready.
went to do my JP stuff, endorsement etc. den went back to my office to do the dockets. Den Razlan called me and benny and nigel to the records for a talk. me for no reason, dun understand what happened. but this was wad heard frm me,
Razlan, seemingly called Nigel to help him takecharge of exit permit counter while he tot Vincent was on leave. den Vincent arrived, so nigel went back to his post. den razlan told nigel, if u are free, come over to help benny with the records. Afternoon went to the office and asked nigel are u helping benny? Nigel said, Benny also no file, den i file for wad?
den they started some heated arguements. well. frm my point of view, they should be left aside and go home and think about me. Maybe for my family, i will never quarrel with my supervisor, even when mdm kamala makes me sometimes angry, i will also accept her decision, ill say Yes Mdm, den leave the office. WHY? They are my supervisors! i wun go and charge at her. Nigel approach was not right but he was at his top, if he dun blow up today, he may blow up another day, so let him blow-up today and let things settle from there on.
Razlan is one of the most free officers in my office. he is a supervisor. and yes, usually people will get frustrated whhen they are working their butt out yet their supervisor is reading soccernet or stuff. I did point out to razlan, sir, it will be a morale boost, if you are able to assist in the records, not just its an extra man, but when u see your supervisor work with you, u will certainly feel good and will be willing to push the extra mile.
Hope that both can learn from each other. Im starting to realise, why some are just aint cut out for Government service.
