Marina Barrage
Knn. i dunno where did the draft went for this post until Vincent reminded me.
20th November 2010
Ming informed me last night to reach JP at 1030 for kite flying. we will be meeting weiting n yiteng n ming at JP. Vincent needa go EXPO to get his marathon stuff.
As my experience tell me, it is quite hard for ming to be punctual, but, sadly to say, Ming was punctual n he reached around 1040. I leis was super duper late, Weiting called me at 1045 and i was still on my bed. =X. I reached around 1115. Asking for beating nia. We went to NTUC to get some food and snacks before going off. Ming wanted to get some better threads, so we took MRT to Bukit Batok, followed by changing to Marina.
When we were in the MRT, it was raining heavily, We prayed that the rain will stop when we get out of the marina station. Yes it the rain stopped. Woots! the bus was there too, so we took the bus to the barrage. walked up the stairs n onto the field. The field was empty but muddy. =(. Tried to fly weiting's shark but cant really go up cause wind was on/off. Vincent then came by. Weiting help me fly my aircon express up into the sky, quite high summore, then ming took over, after that, my aircon empire collapse onto the grass liaos. hahahahas. The day was a mixture of windy/not so windy weather, so we manage to get the kites up at times. THere were many kites la like bats, sotongs etc etc, also got 1 more shark. hahahas.
We then played Monopoly around 6+. The monpoly ended around 7+, we then dropped by the musuem to see a model of how the abrrage worked. After that, we went down to the water area and played with the water. Me n Ming and Vincent primarily were the ''models' my jeans were wet. but it was fun. we did some funny macho post, den did some qiang shou guan yin, den did some side peeing shots. funny lah.!. We played there around 45mins bah. its around 9 ler, so we walked back to the busstop to wait for the bus to the marina station.
As i had my sore throat, the peeps agreed to makan at the kopitiam at JP beside Cheers. I had some prawn noodles (My 1st meal of the day). We chatted abit, after which, we went back le lors.
Kite Flying, Fun i say! We shall fly again soon~!
Oh yeah, ming was saying he wan try fishing also. hehehe. dats fun too!
